I finished my thesis. (!!!!!!)

Prior to this, crazy times were had with fellow thesis-ers, with late nights, silly jokes, and plenty of delirium. It wasn't nearly as stressful as I would have expected, while still being a HUGE push. So good.

I just discovered podcasts and iTunesU. I'm tired of a lot of my music, but listening to things such as podcasts and lectures.. mm. Perfect for some of my less thought-intensive activities in the lab (or for when I start pipetting forever). I'm quite excited about it ( Read more... )

I have got to go to bed earlier.

I also need to bring at least a long-sleeve t-shirt or a sweatshirt from now on - the lab was freezing.

I'm glad to get back into such a science-y, research-y environment. I love it.

I meant to go to bed earlier than this, but for some reason or another decided to briefly check out the beginning of The Shawshank Redemption (which was on HBO) and got immediately and completely sucked in. What an incredible movie. Wow.
