I graduated school at long last, to find out that I simply don't know enough of the right stuff that would get me a job. I got an offer from a guy I designed a logo for for doing texture art for a REAL video game, that would be for the Revolution. But I only vaguely know how to do texture art. Yeah I suppose. But my parents would be awfully annoyed if I ended up doing something completely different from my degree, considering they completely paid my way through college. But at least this texturing stuff is quasi-related in that I took a class in 3-d, and I learned how to use Photoshop properly at school, so I'm using at least peices of my degree. And I got this contact through designing a logo for the guy. So I guess I can't complain too much, but it's still frustrating.
