that today I thought of you while purchasing "russian red" lipstick at the MAC counter. It's really red. It's perfect. I'm wearing it with my pygamas.

finding the right shade of red lipstick is quite the crusade indeed. they're always too pink, too purple, too orange, too brown, too burgandy, etc etc etc.

i'm really happy for you that you managed to put your money to good use (and by "good use" i mean "finding the holy grail of lipstick")

and wowzers! i'm flattered that you thought of me whilst shopping for cosmetics. that is amazing.

wow. it was like a year ago that i took you off, so i'm franky surprised that you stuck it out this long.

anyway, it's nothing personal. honestly. my friend-list was a year ago when i did some house cleaning upwards of 100 people long. and it felt absurd to me. there were a lot of journals that i would just skim by, because after going to work i'd come home and have to skip back like 120 entries to read my friend pages.

and it felt, to me, really dishonest to keep people friended if i wasn't reading their journal.

and while i DID cut out everybody except for people i know personally or people who i've "known" online for years and years - my friend-list on this particular journal is still huge. i'm at, what, 60-something? christ.

so yeah. i cut you because i don't know you.

thanks for thinking i'm a smartypants - but rest assured: i'm really not. i'm mostly full of shit.

and you're not missing out on anything because i don't plan on using this journal much anymore, besides.

i'm sorry if i've hurt your feelings.

Man, I've been wondering lately where the hell you've been. And I came to your journal and checked it out, then I remembered this entry.
