Obviously, a lot's happened since the last time we posted. We did the final walkthrough on Thursday. Apparently the original pantry was broken, so we're just today getting our pantry installed. We're just about done packing (we have so much stuff!!) and it looks like the computer's next. We do the final walk-through at 11am tomorrow, close at 1pm, and try to move as much as we can in a truckload and a half (maybe two). Movers, appliances, and phone lined up for Friday. The only major items left are the carpeting, kitchen pantry, and final grade. Everything else is ready to go! We even have a tree!

Well, renting at the least. Today our condo gets officially signed over to our buyer. Of course we'll be renting back from him until we get moved into the new place. We've tentatively scheduled the exchange of keys for the 26th. Meanwhile, they've stained the wood, installed the closet insides, and installed the bathroom vanities and mirrors. ( Read more... )

Things seem to be going along on schedule with the place. The drywall's done, so they should be painting this week and starting on fixtures. It was too wet to do the patio, but this week will be dry and it should be done next week. Shopping for appliances is so confusing! Looks like the siding and most of the soffit's done. Inside they're still smoothing out the drywall/tape seams, so nothing new there. They've also delivered the bricks for the front, so that could start any time, I guess. Here's the front and here's the back. How exciting, eh?
