We went back on the 21st to find that despite not telling us as we'd asked, they'd completed the drywall. So apparently we missed the finishing work on the conduit, insulation, and whatever else had to be done before closing in the walls. Yes, we did promise pictures some three weeks ago. Here is a pic or two from Sep. 6th. First, we have the front and the back with the roof on (at leat partway, they didn't finish for over a week after these pics!). They also installed the fireplace , the shower, and the tub. Rate lock expires October 23rd. They'd better finish by then. This weekend's pics should be the final pre-drywall pics. We have to start seriously shopping for furniture and appliances, too.

Looks like it's going to be a lot of odds and ends interior work for a while now. This will be the last photo for at least a few weeks. The windows are all installed (as you can see) and they've already started roughing in the plumbing. They've also started some of the ductwork as well. Looks like the frameup is done. The garage is fully framed and everything else seems to be in place. The modification we made to the kitchen was done as ordered, so no troubles there. Here's a few pics from today:

Letsee... there's the BP gas station with it's convenience store offerings, Watson's pub, Raceway pizza, a salon, an ice cream shop, and... that's it for downtown!
