...another floor almost done. Real progress!! How thilling! Here it is today. We're a bit worried about the fact you can't see the gable over the living room. Hopefully, they do a straight roof and then cut out the gable after the fact.

Today they finally began framing the home. Here's the house so far You can see the chimney, front room window, door, and the floorboards for the bedrooms.

Our lumber will be delivered to start frameup on Friday the 15th. Too bad we aren't building in Europe or the western US....

...to the Elwood. After three days on the market, we had three offers on the condo, and chose the one that was $1,000 over our asking price and no contingencies. If the weather continues, the builder projects an early November completion date. I feel ill.

First off, it was my bad on saying the frame up was in July. It's actually going to be in August sometime. There are four homes ahead of us. The foundations done and the support beam for the living room is in place. It's just a waiting game now, and the weather doesn't help a bit. I'm hoping for a really dry August, but who knows...
