AvP could have been alot better if that stupid chick hadn't said "you are one ugly mother fucker" to the alien... that's just not something you do.

that movie had great potential but came short of the aliens movie. hell, even alien was somewhat better than avp. still, avp compared to every other movie that's been out was one of the most decent movies to ever be made in quite a few years. minus the last samurai (which was the best movie made to date in my opinion)

I personally loved AVP (and own it on DVD). As for that "You are one ugly mother fucker" statement... think of it as "I'll be back" from the Terminator series. It's a line that you don't want to hear, because it's a stupid catch phrase, but you know it's coming anyway, so you just brace yourself for it and try to ignore it when it hits :P

But yeah... I loved the movie.

Exactly. it's a damn good movie. Mike and will are just prejudiced. and will hasn't joined my board yet. CURSE YOU WILL.

anway, yeah. as far as the line, i just didn't like it because i always favor the aliens over the humans and predators.

I've always been a Predator fan, but that might be because I saw Predator before Alien :P

meanwhile, i haven't actually seen the predator movies.

or maybe i just prefer mindless killing to the hunt.
