Poland (Królestwo Polskie)

Elaine would do just about anything for him. There's so much beautiful history behind the two of them. And a lot of history Elaine would rather forget as well- when they were constantly arguing because of Poland's religion and Elaine's friendship with Lucifer, though that actually showed her how much Poland cares. She sometimes feels like she's always the one taking care of him or comforting him and not vice versa, but that's okay, because she loves him. He doesn't know it, but he takes care of her, too, in a special way Elaine wouldn't be able to describe. Simply put, he makes her happy.

Jack Ryan

Jack is one of Elaine's best friends in Wonderland. He's a little strange at times, but it helps to remember how old he actually is and where he comes from. He's a bit of an action guy, which is okay, although she wishes he'd learn to put himself before others sometimes, and to stop using plasmids. She has nightmares of him being too spliced up to even remember her anymore. Jack can be sweet in his own way, which brings a smile to her face and really makes her feel loved. She really hopes with all her heart that he gets the normal life he longs for.

Rei Ayanami

Elaine didn't really know what to think of Rei when they first met. And yet, for some reason, they seemed to click really well. Elaine doesn't know what to say a lot of the time, but it's a comfortable silence, since she knows Rei doesn't mind. She finds Rei awkward in an endearing way, quiet and serene, and purposeful in her own steady way. The only thing Elaine dislikes about the girl is Rei's opinion that she was born with a purpose, and that she shouldn't deviate from it. Elaine hopes to show Rei that there's so much more to live for. It's hard to make her smile, but every smile is worth it.

Minato Arisato

Elaine enjoys Minato's company. He's a steady, calm presence, and he's good to talk to when she's feeling upset or panicking. He's thoughtful, too, but sometimes she finds him a bit too thoughtful. She wishes she could see him laugh more, or be a bit more spontaneous. Regardless, he's a good friend to have because he really honestly seems to care for the people he's close to. He's someone dependable, not to mention he really takes the initiative with things. Elaine feels a bit guilty that she's not trying as hard as him to find a way out of Wonderland, but that makes her admire him, too.

Karkat Vantas (carcinoGeneticist)

Karkat reminds Elaine of Gaudium a lot. He's the vulgar, cynical friend that's fun to talk to despite the sarcasm and profanities. She likes to make fun of him in her own little way, though she's not sure if he picks up on it. She thinks he does. To her, he's the kind of person who pretends to hate hugs, which is why she goes out of her way to annoy him with hugs. Amusing, endearing, and brave. He makes her interested in troll culture, because of the relationships he has with the other trolls.

Lithuania (Lietuvos Didžioji Kunigaikštystė)

Elaine and Liet only really talk now and then, but she considers him a friend. He's also her go to person whenever Poland's being stubborn or confusing and she doesn't know how to deal with it. After all, Liet is his husband. That's probably why Elaine will go out of her way for Liet as well: mostly to make Poland happy. She thinks Liet's dependable and was probably raised in a slightly boring but well mannered way, if he was ever raised at all. He's a hardworker and down to earth- traits Elaine admires but doesn't necessarily emulate.

Sophia Lamb

Sophia helped Elaine through a particularly difficult time in Wonderland, when Elaine felt that she had to distance herself from her friends. She would say that she looks up to Sophia as a mother figure- except that Elaine doesn't really believe in mother figures. She certainly feels like she owes the older woman, and will definitely go out of her way to give the doctor a hand if Sophia ever asks for it. And if Elaine ever has another difficult time, she knows who she's going to turn to.

Gokudera Hayato

She's only talked with Gokudera a few times, so all she has is first impressions. Fortunately, Gokudera is the kind of person who gives very strong first impressions. Elaine finds him pessimistic and serious. Or perhaps a better word would be realistic. She gets the feeling he likes playing the devil's advocate, and has the tendency to deliver the bad news. That doesn't mean he's difficult for her to talk to, rather she feels she benefits from his advice.

Prince Seeu

Most of Elaine's history with Seeu comes from when she was hunting the Major. She knew that Seeu was the Major's friend and that they had different reasons for helping each other: she wanted to get rid of the Major, Seeu wanted to help him. They disagreed a lot, but Seeu helped her, and she needed that help because she had no idea what to do about androids. Elaine fought Seeu's mirror and saved his Lunar Mercury as well. She finds him distant and a bit intoverted, but he's alright in her book. He seems to have important principles he sticks by.

Tim

Tim showed some interest in Mhairi, and Elaine was happy enough to answer his questions. That would make him one of the few people in Wonderland that actually knows she once kept a planet in her room. He seems relaxed and well adjusted to Wonderland, and while she doesn't know him much, he's still nice to talk to. She has no idea about Masky.

Philip

Philip has always been a little strange around Elaine. It makes her uncomfortable. Actually, he always seems uncomfortable around her, and a little nervous, which makes her worry that she did something wrong. Most of the time she just shrugs and accepts it, because she's sure she would have remembered if she had done something. (What she doesn't know, of course, is that her mirror did some pretty evil things to Philip.)

Kengamine Nagi

Elaine knows that Nagi is from Ganta's world. She doesn't really think of him much beyond that. There's a part of her that wants to be friends with Nagi, but to be honest most of that feeling is because she knows Ganta and Nagi were friends. Her interest in Nagi is only a poorly hidden interest in Ganta, and she finds that unfair to everyone involved. So she doesn't say anything.

Eve (Mirror Elaine)

So much hate. Hate hate hate. After she killed the Major, Elaine really only had one enemy left in Wonderland: her mirror. If she was forced to admit it, Elaine would say they have a tiny bit in common, except that Eve is a sadistic, planet-stealing, torturing, friendless, evil, callous, stuck-up, self-absorbed, so-not-like-Lucifer, probably-hates-the-Spice-Girls person. Of hate.

Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning hush, I am the sweet uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there. I did not die.
