Chapter 2

When Billy woke up with a start as he remembered the dream he had the night before.

His heart pounded as he reminisced what had happened in the dream.

It had felt so real, yet he knew it was a dream.

He was at this apartment. The same one. He was wearing the same clothes, and it had been in the hallway of Matt’s apartment, with no one around. He remembered that in his dream he had thought about where Frank was, and why he was out in the hallway in the dark by himself. He remember seeing someone.

Staring at Frank’s slumbered body his heart pounded with guilt as he remembered the boy.

It wasn’t Frank. It was another boy. Someone different. Billy could remember dark black hair sweeping over a pale face, a body similar to Frank’s, yet less tanned. And the eyes. The bright green eyes that seeped into Billy’s mind and permanently stayed there. The eyes; so bright and shining. And so…green. And then there was the lips. So warm and inviting that Billy couldn’t help but be forced to kiss. He had whispered his name softly into Billy’s ear. The name which now, as the sun rose, Billy had forgotten. He had remembered the words uttered after the stranger has whispered his name.

“The kiss sealed with a secret.”

He remembered how hot and sexy them words had sounded and he had no choice but to press his own lips against the strangers’.

And then the kiss. So hot and passionate, like nothing that he had ever experienced with Frank before. It didn’t take long until the kiss had progressed into a more passionate embrace, lasting a long time, Billy seemingly not wanting to pull away.

This guy had been hot, very hot.

And in his dream, Billy had kissed him.

Billy bit his lip and turned over to look at Frank’s sleeping body. He thought about how it wasn’t exactly like he was cheating on Frank. It was a dream. Just a dream. You can’t help what you dream. And so he found another guy hot? He knew Frank found a few members of bands hot, which he also did. So it was all okay. He didn’t blame himself.

It was just a dream.

But how come although it was just a dream, not only did it feel so real, but there was the kiss. And he had found that kiss so incredibly hot. So hot, in fact, that part of him wanted to fall back to sleep, just to try to have the dream in it again, with that other boy.

“Billy, you awake?” Frank moaned, rubbing his eyes and blinking into the light.

“Yeah,” Billy replied, his mind still caught up in the stranger, “Nice sleep?”

“Strange dream.” Frank muttered, causing Billy’s eyes to widen.

“Oh really? What about?” He asked, rather sharply.

“Nothing much. About my parents never accepting us and hating me for the rest of my life…” Frank grinned, rolling over onto Billy who grinned, pushing his lips closer to Frank’s and kissing his gently.

When he kissed him, his mind was on the stranger.

When he pulled away he let out a small moan over how much the dream was taking up his thoughts. He had to try not to dwell on it. It was just a dream, it wasn’t real. He had Frank. He loved Frank. That was all there was too it.

Overcome with guilt he buried himself into his quilt, snuggling into Frank who had laid back down, and closing his eyes, not wanting to get up right then. He wanted just to stay with Frank in that bed, tucked up with him forever. He didn’t want to face reality, and deal with what happened the earlier day, he just wanted to be with Frank, forever.

He closed his eyes and brushed his hands against Frank’s head which was laid beside him. He kissed the back of Frank’s head softly for a few moments before moving closer to him, wrapping his hands around him and cuddling him close, closing his eyes and trying to leave the real word and just go back the world where it is just him and Frank. Which he is forced to enter often.

Suddenly, after laying next to Frank for a few minutes he heard the door of this bedroom swing open. Thinking it was just Matt or Alex or something, he ignored it and carried on laying next to his boyfriend, however, when he heard a small gasp come from someone and a low “Aww!” Come out of someone else, he knew immediately who it was.

He and Frank sat up immediately after hearing the noise. They blinked several times into the room and made out Billy and Frank’s mother, standing there, both with very different expressions. Billy’s mother was grinning at the two boys, with a face that looked like she wanted to take a picture, it was just that cute. Frank’s mother, however, looked disgusted, yet more accepting over the whole matter.

“Mom!” Both boys cried at the same time.

“Boys,” Billy’s mother smiled in a warm, friendly voice, “It’s okay.”

“It is?” Frank muttered, looking towards his mother.

“It is.” She whispered. Frank raised his eyebrows and stared at his mother.

“Really?” He asked.

“Really.” She replied, “Matt kind of talked to both of us. I had no idea how serious you were. I just… kind of wish you would have told me sooner.”

“I do too mom,” Frank grinned, happy with what was happening, “I just was scared…”

“I understand.” She told him, “It’s a big thing to admit. And after talking to Billy’s parents…” She turned to look at the woman happily grinning at Frank and Billy, “We both understand and…accept it.” She said slowly.

“Really? Dad too?” Frank asked.

“Well, your father needs a little bit more time to accept it.” His mother told him, “But he will in time. He feels better about it. He isn’t angry anymore…”

“Um…Good?” Frank asked.

“For your father, it definitely is…” She smiled, causing Frank to want to run towards her, but didn’t want to, considering he only had his underwear on.

“Thanks mom…” Frank beamed.

“Thanks Mrs Iero,” Billy smiled, which she smiled back to.

“So, now that everything is cleared up, you guys want to come home now?” Billy’s mother laughed.

“Yeah okay,” Frank replied, “Sorry about running away yesterday by the way, it was just… dad.”

“I know.” His mother replied, “You did just say you… yeah. With the whole…” His mother coughed and looked away. Frank knew what she was implying.

“Sorry. I just had to set him straight.” Frank told her, “I love Billy and he loves me. That is all he really needs to know.”

“Okay son,” His mother told him, “We accept the two of you. We do. Honestly. Now will you please come home now?”

“Okay mom.” Frank smiled. Looking at his mother sincerely as Billy and his mother exchanged loving glances.

“And you know I have full acceptance of it all, Billy.” His mother told him, “I am so happy you are in love.” She grinned, looking like she wanted to take a picture of them two of them in bed together.

Frank’s mother just raised her eyebrows, it was obvious she wasn’t completely happy about it, but she had accepted it, and seemed okay, and that was all that mattered.

“So, do you two wanna get ready so we can take you back?” Frank’s mother said, looking uneasily at the floor where she found the boys’ clothes piled into a heap that were so obviously thrown off in a hurry. His mother looked appalled as she left the room, shaking her head, with Billy’s mother following.

When they left, Billy turned to Frank, his tired face twisted into a smile as he pounced on his boyfriend, hugging him tightly and burying his face in Frank’s neck.

“Frank!” Billy cried, kissing his shoulder softly, “I am so glad everything is okay, right? I mean, your mom seemed okay…”

“Yeah,” Frank smiled, “It’s okay Billy. It really is.”

And as they held each other, their hands gripped hold of each other, knowing both their mothers were waiting for them both to get changed and come outside, they stayed there. Together. Frank looked at Billy’s grinning face, his heart beating with happiness. He scanned Billy’s lips before moving in and kissing him softly, yet soon moving into more passion as the kiss progressed.

While kissing, Frank thought about how much he loved Billy at that point. How glad he was his parent knew. No more sneaking around! No more pretending he and the love of his life were ‘just friends‘. Nothing. Just…togetherness. Forever. And it made his heart jump just thinking about.

Yet while kissing Frank, all Billy could think about was his dream.
And that other boy.

The weekend passed quickly. Billy had forgotten his dream at this point, and just focused on Frank and only Frank. They spent the whole weekend together, both their parents seemingly accepting their love, which was the best part.

Unfortunately, however, it was now Monday. Which meant back at school.

Frank groaned as he rolled over, yawning and blinking around his room. He wondered when he would actually be allowed to have Billy sleepover with his parents actually knowing, because god knows that they used to behind their parents back. Pulling his school uniform on he looked at himself in the mirror. He examined his black hair as he licked his hand, trying to flatten it down a little bit.

It was strange, even though he had been dating Billy for a while now, he always tried to look his best for him. Even though they had been going out for a long while he still loved him just as much as he did when they first met.

After spending half an hour getting ready for school, Frank found himself walking out of his front door to be greeted by the cold weather of the autumn, and then passed the temperature so the boy standing in front of him: Billy.

Frank smiled and wrapped him arms around him, not caring about who was watching. He was happy to see him after all.

“Hey,” He whispered, looking at his boyfriends bright morning eyes, which he has long since seen.

“Hey,” Billy replied, yawning slightly and hugging Frank, “Let’s go…”

Both boys smiled to each other as they started making off in the direction of their school together. As with normal Monday mornings, both boys were tired and really didn’t want to be going to school, but to them it didn’t really matter, so long as they were together.

Frank turned and looked at Billy. Even though it was months later, he still couldn’t get over how lucky he was to have him. The one and only boy he has loved, the guy that turned him, his first friend at the school.

“Hey guys,” Someone called to them. Billy grinned as Jacoby Shaddix came running towards them. Frank remembered the time when Jacoby used to be an arrogant ass who Frank used to hate, but as time went on he changed. He found out that Jacoby was a nice, decent guy, but what just hanging out with the wrong people. And Jacoby stopped hanging out with Brian and the others and started with Billy and Frank and now his normal, nice side was exposed constantly.

All three boys walked to school, each in their own words, the wind breezily cooling their bodies. Frank smiled to himself when he looked at Billy, as he always did, and Billy did the same with him. Jacoby sometimes muttered quiet “Aww’s” whenever he saw this, but other times tried to avoid it.

They were early, as usual. Jacoby smiled and waved at the two boys when they got into school and ran off in search of his form room to meet his girlfriend. He also knew by then not to hang around with Billy and Frank before school due to some of the things he has witnessed. Billy grinned and held Frank’s hand, pulling him into the infamous bathroom where they spent their first kiss all the many months ago.

As usual, no one was there, and there no doubt will be anyone there for a long time. Frank smiled as he turned to look at Billy.

“I missed you,” He whispered, even though it had only been the night before when they has seen each other.

“I missed you too,” Billy replied, grinning at his boyfriend. Frank smiled back, wrapping his arms around Billy and pulling him closer for a kiss. Billy smiled and giggled slightly from his boyfriend.

“Ha,” Frank grinned, “You know, for the first time of us sneaking into this bathroom, this is the only time I actually need to use the toilets.” Frank laughed, “Be right back!” Billy smiled as Frank ran off to one of the cubicles.

Billy waited patiently for Frank to be done as he looked at himself in the mirror. His hair had gotten longer over the summer and he didn’t want to cut it. Frank preferred it long anyway. So he kept it how Frank liked it.

As he was looking, he heard footsteps coming into the bathroom. He made a sigh of relief as he realised someone was coming in. Thank god Frank had needed the toilet and hadn’t stayed there, kissing him.

Billy turned to see who it was, expecting it to be Jacoby, but widened his eyes when he saw who entered the room.

He was like them. “Emo” you may call it. He had black hair, similar to Frank’s, sweeping across his face. He had his lip pierced twice, which was something uncommon for someone at the school. He was wearing red eyeshadow and dark black eyeliner rimming bright green eyes. Billy gasped.

The boy smiled at him, and walked towards him quietly.

Without saying a word, the boy wrapped his arms around Billy and kissed him passionately on the lips. Billy didn’t know what he was doing, it all seemed to go in slow motion. The boy pressed his own plump lips - so different to Frank’s- against Billy’s, who gasped as the stranger opened his mouth during the kiss, deepening it. Billy moaned softly but didn’t stop it. The kiss was amazing, fresh and new and hot and sexy, just like the person kissing him.

When the stranger finally did pull away, all Billy could do was blink as the boy looked straight into Billy’s eyes.

“The kiss ceiled with a secret,” He uttered, causing Billy to remember everything.
