Gosh, I seem to have won a Pegasus Award. [Best Time-Related Song for "Precious Moments"] I'm not sure if I should greet this with suitably modest British reserve, or be squealing "Woohoo!" in a loud and gleeful manner. Or possibly both

Well deserved. Steve and Katy performed it without visibly crying, which is the hardest part of performing your song. (I didn't do as well, but I was in the audience.)

Such a great song! It was time it won. And you may not know Karen Paddison, an Ontario filker whose 12 year old daughter recently, and very suddenly, died. She posted about how many times she had sung your song to her daughter, and this time found the strength to sing it for her, through tears. It helped her, and of course it also helped that Steve and Katy did such a wonderful performance.

Thank you for that. It means a lot to know that a song I wrote means so much to somebody, or indeed that others are singing it.
