I think this is the most quiet to ever hit downtown Los Angeles, thanks to Dr. Springfield. The authorities have cordoned off a good quarter-mile radius, giving a lot of folks a well-deserved day off.

Hadrian's doing better. He's not making that gurgling sound anymore, though it took him weeks to get over that. His head still kinda rolls from side to side sometimes like there's a string cut or something, but otherwise I think he's good to go.

I've gotta admit, it was a lot quieter down in the pens with everyone gone. No one was screaming, or making fun of my mom, or just generally making sure everyone else knew how miserable they were.
