I hate furniture stores

This wknd has been such an utter hassle and aggravation cuz of stupid furniture people. Here's the preview of what this wknd was suppose to be: well my mom had gotten me a diningroom set from Rooms to Go and I had ordered a living room and bedroom set from Ashley's Furniture.... both of these were done back on 5/29 all set for delivery on 6/17 (

That just totally sucks! I would have been pissed too...

I can't understand how these delivery people are so irresponsible sometimes and thay still keep their jobs. and that store should have called and said the furniture was discontinued so you could change it to what you wanted.. LAME.

I'm with Ozone. You really should get them for that. I've never bought from Ashley's but I also don't know anyone else who has. I've only bought from Baer's and from Discount Furniture (which is owned by a family friend). But I've got expensive tastes, so don't ever ask me for advice unless you've got moolah.

Let me know about house warming. I've been cooking a lot lately, and I love to share tasty things...

I resent any comments concerning the employees working at any furniture companies. Even tho big companies like Ashleys and Rooms to Go suck ass. Dont ever go to those places again, their so big youd have more luck getting better customer service at walmart

Dude, I feel for ya. I stayed away from RTG because of all the shit I've heard from other friends. Ashleys I got a couple of lamps which I had to drive to their distribution center in order to get them because it would take weeks for them to show up at the local showroom down the road. Minor issue.

Kane's I've been happy with. Bought a good chunk of my furniture from them and whatever was fucked up, they had fixed when my schedule permitted.
