John was relaxing in the living room, for once not doing any research or work for the class. Everyone needed a break every now and then, right? He flipped channels and stopped on a zombie movie.

Because of it being Parents Weekend, John was holding extra office hours and doing his best to look like a responsibile teacher during them.

John was in a thoughtful mood today. Between watching how expertly his boys had handled the demon in Baltimore this past weekend and Missouri's impending visit had him doing some unaccustomed reflecting on what the future might bring ( Read more... )

John woke slowly, feeling the same sense of satisfaction he'd gone to sleep with.

Which lasted until he woke fully.

His eyes popped open and he stared at the ceiling.

"Crap," he said heartfelt. And wondered if shooting another teacher was a firing offense at this school.

Given the strangness of last Thursday, John had never actually made it to his office so here he was today, catching up on the things he had been planning to do then.

Hopefully everyone will still be the same gender when he got home.

John was in his office trying to concentrate on paperwork and not worry or dwell on what he had heard on the radio the last two nights.

There were drawbacks to settling in Fandom while his sons were going to school. He really didn't need to hear about the boys' love lives on the radio.
