This weekend marked a wonderful first--first meal with ingredients grown in our own garden. I made an herb salad to top some polenta. Yum! The sad thyme and mint plants that called out to me a couple of weeks ago are very happy in the ground next to my house and growing like crazy--plenty to snip off, chop up, and eat
