My kids say this to each other when they pretend to fight:

"You want a piece of meat? You paid for it!"

Kid Translation:
"You want a piece of me? You'll pay for that!"

I laugh every time I hear them say their version, and I haven't tried to correct them yet. It's just too funny.

For those of you who may be forced to watch children's programing on occasion, I definitely recommend "Phineas and Ferb" on the Disney Channel. The humor is for adults and kids, so it's not a mindless kid's show. The show is good because one of the creators (Dan Povenmire) also directed "The Family Guy" and the other creator (Jeff Marsh) was an  ( Read more... )

I think the warranty on my body has expired because I have aches in places that have never ached before. My neck has had many problems in the last few years especially when I'm stressed, and I lose mobility in my neck when I'm super stressed. That is elegant, let me tell ya! What a night. I took the kids out for a sunset picnic while towing them in our two-seater bicycle kid carrier. They felt like a ton of bricks in that thing, and I had to walk up the the hills with them because they are not enough gears for hauling that heavy of a load for me. The fireflies are out again in full force at twilight lately. They are mesmerizing to watch as they dance through the open fields, like a miniature symphony of lights.
