I was hoping I wasn't going to say anything that would offend anyone, but between talking about religion and politics one is likely to offend someone.
I can hardly wait to receive your card. I hope you corrected my address in your address book, because last year you sent it to the wrong PO Box number. Hearing from you always makes me smile. :)
Like your mother, I'm also a diehard Republican. I am interested in finding peace, and doing what is best for our country. I pray for wisdom for our leaders to be able to do just that. However, I am considering changing parties to bring peace. As far as the Republicans go, I am watching Mike Huckabee. I'm not sure I really care for the other Republicans. I am really worried about the soldiers and military who return and have trouble fitting back into society. With Brian, he was promised the Army would help him find a job and place him in the area he was trained. I just hope and pray that Brian does not reenlist as he is talking about.
I see nothing offensive in here at all. This is a place where you can express what you think, and if someone doesn't like it, they can scroll past. Nobody's forcing anyone to read anything here...
Forgiving people is tricky, since some take the position that they've done nothing wrong/they aren't mad, even though they say it in a certain way to let you know how mad they are. You can't force it. All you can do is try to love the unlovable, and let them stew in their own juices.
Good, I'm so glad. I tried to be care when choosing my words so I wouldn't offend anyone. What you have said is true, no one is being forced to read anything here, and I should be able to speak freely but I still try not to offend anyone.
Forgiveness comes from the heart, and until someone's heart is ready to open up and forgive as well, then there will not be peace. It is much better to forgive and put the past behind you and start over. Unfortunately, some people aren't ready to love, forgive, or start over. I still sometimes pray for these former friends. I could ramble on, but I should stop here.
Lovely Lady I wish we could all just get Brian home for you. You have my promise that my vote is for the candidate that plans to end these awful wars. So far that seems like Obama, but I'm still looking too.
As a mother I understand how painful this must be - honor your heart. Celebrate or not in whatever way you need. The rest of the world can fry ice.
Been a big year, enjoy your graduation. You've earned it. :)
I want this endless war over too. Bush got on a boat and said we won. So why are our trooops still fighting? I wish I could bring them all home tonight. God be with Brian and the rest of our troops. Have a good time with your friends! You deserve some fun after this year.
I'm glad you understand how I feel as well about bringing the troops home. I think if they brought the troops home from Iraq, the ones in Afghanistan would not have to have such long duties.
The little party/get together with my friends was postponed until tomorrow. I hope nothing comes up where it is postponed again. I am looking forward to spending time with them.

Thank you for planning to vote the way you are.
Fry ice?! Hahaha! You made me think of Fried Ice Cream, have you ever heard of that or tried it? I haven't but would like to.
I still must post about my graduation, and hope to do so tomorrow.
