Vacation

I have technically been on vacation now for two hours and forty minutes.

They've called me four times already.

vacation, work

You should be like:

"For every time you call me I'm going to tack on another 3 hours to my vacation...at your expense. As of right now I have another day of vacation."

Then be amused at the thought of them squirming in their seats about what to do for the rest of the day. Hehe.

Yeah, I like that idea too.

Vacation means time away from work. Period.

I agree with the tacking on more time idea previously mentioned. They obviously need to be trained like monkeys!

This is odd/random, but you showed up in a dream I had last night. Everything ok over there?

No, not really OK now, but it will be, because my friends are utterly amazing, and I love them all. :-) Stress should be reduced after Wednesday...

Will y'all be out at Arisia?

Aw, sad Drew makes me sad Oni!!!

:( :( :( :(

The odd thing is that I never remember dreams at all..like maybe 3x a year, if that. YE INVADEZ0RED MEH HEAD! :D

:)

Oh, we won't be at Arisia. They don't offer and compensation for travel so we just couldn't swing it financially. Maybe next year though. Next year is gonna be really cool. I might be traveling a lot more once I consolidate some stuff. :D

Some friends came up to dinner tonight (this is a huge deal, as it's an hour plus drive for them, and it was a huge deal for me as I had not had friends over to visit me since Tracy moved out.)

I feel better, but it's a day at a time right now. And I'd apologize for invading your head, but I'm a Drew. Drews do that. If I knew *how*, maybe I could stop. I probably wouldn't, though. ;-)

[I did host a D&D game, but that's different.]

call them four times.
but block your caller id and pretend to be a very, very, very tedious support call.

"Hi, I can't get my hyperterminal ports to work with your EM4 product"
"Sir, we don't make an EM4, do you mean an EM1 or an E4?"
"No, I'm sure it's an EM4"...

I could be so, so evil, since I've already heard every silly thing our customers have said 100 times.

If they call me again, I might. :-D
