URGENT! Concert-related question.

Beck is doing a short tour for his new album. NYC date is Wednesday, 18 October, at The Theater at MSG. Tix are $55 via RipOffMaster and are already on sale (as of 4pm this afternoon). I can't buy 'em till tomorrow - credit-card issue - but I am thinking of going. Anyone interested?

Two options

I bought tickets yesterday morning. I ended up in the 200s, i.e., middle section, seated/not general admission, not bad, but not super-close. According to RipOffMaster, the best seats available are in the 300s. So the show is not sold out, but were you to buy your own tix, you'd be seated a whole section away from me/us and in the nosebleeds (which are actually not that bad since the Theater at MSG is pretty decent in terms of size and sight lines).

Here's the thing - I bought two tix, but bradamant is not that into Beck and would gladly skip it. So your two options are:

1. Buy one of my tix and come with me, the disadvantage being that it'd be a man-date (unless prettykate loves Beck more than you and wants to come as my "date"; I mean that platonically, of course); or...
   
2. Buy your own tix, and both couples can go.

I think the first option is the better one, so long as prettykate doesn't mind you not bringing her, or you don't mind her going without you. Let me know ASAP - the ticket's yours for the taking if you want it.
