Some good news!
Just got the funding approval for a major project I'll be running this year! This is good news, and will help settle my nerves before my year end review.
Not that I'm worried about my job, but I really have no idea what to expect for a discretionary bonus this year... I guess an extra few million in funding for my team can't hurt. *crosses fingers ( Read more... ) -

Wasn't able to get a table at wogies tonight, and I'm still feeling a bit worse for wear from the weekend, so I'm gonna stay in for this one. Feel free to stop by, as I think we're just going to make chili / guac, and drink whatever booze is remaining in the fridge. -

Wolf Parade...
So anyhow, I have two tickets to see Wolf Parade at Terminal 5, and I'm pretty sure I feel like ass and am thinking about bailing. Anyone want them for face value ($20). -
Quite a bit going on actually...
So it looks like the bank is doing some minor blood letting to coincide w/ '09 budgeting. Nothing too unexpected, but it is disconcerting to see folks getting laid off. I'm not concerned, but I'm going to keep my fingers crossed regardless ( Read more... )
