I walked over the bridge. I-95 was full of cars full of people full of lights. People that were speeding off into somewhere to go on with their Friday nights, and I was jealous. Bars were obscuring my view from the whole picture. The structure was obscuring my view. What a prison! It was the perfect summary of what I was feeling, so I took a ( Read more... )

I'm pleased to find that my house still feels like home, only emptier. I kind of wish it didn't still reek of homeness as much, though, because it's like stopping by home for a few hours between vacations.
