Comfy, comfy, comfy... not so comfy

May 24, 2008 00:10

After 32+hrs of driving in 4 days, I can report that around the 26th hour, my Elise's driver's seat started to feel "not so comfy."   Although it was nothing a pair of biker shorts wouldn't have prevented.

The roads in Scotland were pretty fantastic.  Next time I will drive up to John O' Groats.

I was bragging by way of understatement... but I would have certainly have been worn out by a sedan sooner... even my Alfas. To start, the Elise has one of the comfiest seating positions around (once you fold yourself into the cabin) and 1300mi of high speed, top down, loud exhaust, fun in the occasional sun kept the endorphins pumping. It wasn't until I hit the M6 for a 5hr burn straight home, that it started to lose it's allure.

But you know what I'm talking about.
