I can't seem to enjoy being online too much anymore, as in, for long periods of time. It's more the physicality of it that bothers me. I just don't like sitting for too long. I guess the hiatus had an effect on me after all

I'd recommend reading Dumas. Either The Three Musketeers or my favourite book of all time, The Count of Monte Cristo. Or, if you're feeling adventurous and up for some revisiting of France's history of Kings, read Maurice Druon's Les Rois Maudits.
:O!!! omg!!! HAHAHAH! I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT KID SAID THAT TO YOUR SISTER! I'm so outraged.
One time when I was leaving a friend's house I had to stop my car because there was this six or seven year-old kid standing in the middle of the street with his bike. He just stood there, so I honked. Then, he started screaming obscenities at me, like "MOTHAFUCKER! BITCH! YOU GET OUT MY WAY! FUCKAAAH!" and took off on his bike. I sat there for ten minutes after he rode off just tring to pick my chin off the floor because, hello, what's wrong with kids? When I was that age I was still wearing streth pants & watching Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.
um, have you ever read anything by Ayn Rand? People either love/hate her for her philosophical views. She's a good read though. Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead are her two most known works. Both are long.
Palahniuk's good too, especially if you like twisted & crazy.
But I totally agree with the ^^ statement. Read The Count of Monte Cristo because it is the best book ever. Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte isn't bad either, though you might come to hate the main character, but still, good.
If you like fantasy I suggest Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell because it's really good and twisted, plus it's an intellectual book. I loved it.
Yeah, I've actually read the first 20 pages or so of The Fountainhead, but then I just gave up. I just got edgy reading her.
Palahniuk is VERY good indeed! Choke and Invisible Monsters are soooo awesome!
Wuthering Heights has been on my list of readings, but I've been putting it off because I'm not huge on women writers of that time. Awful to say, but I just don't enjoy it as much :(
Hmm... never heard of that last one. I'll look it uo. Thanks!
I tried so hard to read House of Leaves once, but I just couldn't get through it. Talk about twisted! It's about a house that keeps growing and has these long corridors, ending halls, ending rooms & is always changing and also about some beast.
Um, the book is crazy. It alternates between prose, weird symbols, rambling poetry, and... just craziness.
The first page basically tells the reader that this book isn't for them, then the protagonist starts to fall apart and start seeing/feeling something behind them, meanwhile it tells the story about the family that bought the house.
I never finished it because it got to crazy, but I might pick it back up one day.
Haha. I swear I'm going to stop spamming this post, but when I go to leave I remember another book. Do you like young adult literature? Years ago I read a book called Tenderness by Robert Cormier (I may have spelled it wrong) and it moved me. You might like that.
Nope, that's spelled correctly. I read I Am The Cheese and The Chocolate War series back in high school. It was definitely a fun read. Maybe I'll check that one out :)
ahaha, I'm trying to go to bed and I have you guys holding me back :P

Whaaaaaaaaa?! That's so crazy! Geez, kids these days. I wonder what they'll be like 10-15 years from now. It's a scary thought.
