What, is it like, you're afraid you might jinx yourself if you thank the Lord for how well everything is going? I know that's how it is for me. I know it sounds weird, but as soon as I acknowlege how good things are going and say 'thanks', then everything just goes....wrong. I make it a point not to "jinx myself" if-you-know-what-i-mean. And that's not exactly a good thing.

No. Its like you're suppose to seek God whether things are good or bad or regular. So basically all the time, no matter what. But when things are going good, you kinda get this attitude like you don't need to seek Him anymore because you have everything under control. Its kinda like "oh everythings great why do I need to read my bible.

-i don't want to speak for danielle or anything, but that's what it's like for me if it makes any sense.

I get you. But, my problem is that I don't feel that I don't need to seek him, it's just I feel that if I do, I better knock on wood. Get me?

I guess, I'm just very superstitious....

"....writing's on the wall. Very superstitious, ladder's 'bout to fall...."

I hope it's ok if I join in here, but for me...when everything's going good...I sometimes forget to make contact too. I think it's like when you don't need your parents, because you have money right now and your boyfriend is great and your busy with fun youth stuff or some other exciting thing, and it's all good and you forget to take the time to connect with your family. Then all of a sudden you realize it's not all about you, they want to talk to you and are hurt. I think I get like that with the Lord...where I forget to run to Him and talk to Him about the everyday things. Whenever theres a problem though...I am there at His throne asking for help! I usually don't "Thank" Him for trials I "thank" Him because I know that whatever I go through...
He already knows a way to help me out and He's going to because He's faithful.
