It's all over the news already,... Bill Gates has officially announced his, er, "retirement," ... Sort of (CNN article). He's not really leaving the company, but he's stepping back to a back seat role to spend his time on the development of his charitable foundation. Let's see how MSFT stock does with this announcement,... ;-)

Some PR firm I have never heard of before has come up with an interesting list (to say the least) of the 10 Greatest Countries in the History of the World. By "countries", they're talking about current countries based on their current boundaries (so like, "Iraq" gets counted due to the fact that it's the current location of ancient "mesopotamia").
