My relationship with a certian graph
Yesterday in class I drew a simple graph on the white board. The X axis is a simple dotted line, and the Y doesn't even appear. Starting from the far left a single curved line begins on the X axis and climbs steeply to some given point, then drops equally steeply until it reaches the X and levels out. Well... that letter was sent last friday. On Sunday I recieved an e-mail from Pastor Schmidt saying "I got it, I'll get back to you later this week." And evidently Pastor Jerry got his copy too, or at least that's what my dad said, so some comment must have been made at Church. Well last night I had a mini explosion when I talked with my Dad on the phone. He told me the family had a dinner together, including the in-law Slosses whose company I never really miss, and I was filled in on the happenings... one tidbit of which was Church stuff. What an absolutely draining experience this has been, welcoming the new ALTs to Iwate. Two welcome dinners, two orientation presentations, an orientation/AJET dinner last night with Round1 (amusment/arcade place), and tonight there will be another dinner (delicious Nepalese curry), drinking, and probably a second round of drinking at karaoke ( Read more... ) -

There was a moment about two weeks ago now when I became re-awakened to the world outside of my life. I don't know how I become lost, or how the world keeps moving on, but every-so-often I feel like I need to sprint to keep up.
