We're officially Virginians! Jesse is all unpacked and enrolled in high school here. I'm not nearly as settled but it's a process. I do, at least, know where everything is and where I want it to go. 10 years ago today I was weak. I succumbed to the fear of raising two children alone and let Michael bully me into having an abortion. I have regretted it and paid for it every day since. First day of High School for my son. The dreaded alarm clock season has started again. This year we are cheating though, Virginia schools get out in May not June so we are getting a month less. YAY!

Going to the falls today. Finally going to do all the touristy things I could never talk anyone into doing with me before.

I was supposed to be in Virginia already. But turns out it costs almost $1000 for the moving truck alone. So the date has been pushed up to October 8th. Bill his driving the truck down for me so I don't have to rent a tow dolly for my car. I will just drive my car down and buy him a plane ticket back to Buffalo ( Read more... )
