I'm so happy you enjoyed it, and that the story felt casual while still dealing with the heavy stuff going on in the everyday. Thanks for the prompt!

This is fabulous! I love how visual and well, tangible it is, everything Mikey's seeing and experiencing, and the unhurried and almost aimless feel of the narrative, reflecting their meanderings in the mall and all over Jersey. I think my favourite scene was when the three of them are sitting on the loading dock, Mikey in the middle and the other two huddled up to him. Such a lovely moment.

Thanks for such constructive feedback! It felt strange writing a ficlet that was supposed to convey something totally normal and everyday but doing it in a format (fanfic) that often turns things into Big Events. I'm so thrilled you still felt it worked, and that even non-sexy moments could still feel engaging. Thank you thank you thank you! :D

lovely story. Your words and visuals in my mind came out in black and white. Like i was watching this black and white movie. I more than just read the words i saw them.

Very different waycest/frank but i loved them. so natural.
