The sibling decided I needed to learn that good beer can be as enjoyable as good wine. They were right...

Not that I don't agree. I've had enough friends who were beer snobs to know the difference, myself, at this point. I've actually (just once or twice, mind, but it HAS happened) drank a beer spontaneously for the enjoyment.

Still. There is something incongruous with the idea of your drinking beer, something pristine in your image that just does not jive with fermented malted-grain-water.

Oh well. Welcome to the dark side....
