Normally, when I drive to work, the worst ice is on the Mendips just above Wells. Get past that and the rest of the run is fine. This time, the worst ice was driving down the hill into Hartcliffe, where it was so bad that you had to roll down at no more than walking pace. No, but by the time I realised how bad it was I was not confident I could drive over the ice going up the hill and get back out that way. At least if I skidded slowly pointing down hill I was able to see where I was going easily and control it in bits, but like I said, I won't be taking that route in again tomorrow
