New bike shoes

Right then. Now I've ordered some proper tri bike shoes with a single big strap rather than the silly fiddly dial that my current ones have, so I have about 3 weeks to learn how to do Andy's trick with them. You've got to dismount to a stop, so it oughta be fine - no toe-foldy risks if you goof it.

Hilarity shall ensue. What shoes did you get?

Exustar 900. 'cos they were cheap on Wiggle and had reasonable reviews and to be honest I can't see how expensive shoes are that worth it when I only lose a couple of hundred grams for lightness and the things are almost completely non-load bearing (judging by the absence of any blisters ever when riding barefoot in various tris).

More to the point, are you up for a ride on the Saturday 30th? there is crash space if you want it, and if you hang around into the Sunday you could advise (laugh) at my attempts to sort out the transition stuff.
