eeheeheeheehee (CRACKPLOT!)

Khary likes to do things just to mess with people. Sitting down on any furniture in the main room, or at the island in the kitchen, will result in a rather sudden and alarming change. Khardeen may not be entirely sure what he was doing - it was more just tweaking things around, playing some games, he probably intended some simple young children ( ( Read more... )

Maeglin has been in a Mood, lately, 'Mood' here meaning 'cranky and displeased with the world.' He flops sullenly onto a couch in the main room. Really, the change is not that marked, except that he's visibly a little younger, lanky, black and purple streaked hair covering his eyes as he tucks his chin down to his chest and crosses his arms, glaring balefully through his hair at everyone in general. He even has a zipper electric guitar case with him. Because he is that cool.

Nobody understands him, okay?

She's notices him before - and the colored hair, the guitar and the over all broody look intrigued her.

He might have never noticed the furtive glances she threw his way in class.

Now, though, she's mustered a bit of courage, and she's walking up to him.

"Hm. Hello?"

He blinks, startled by someone actually addressing him, and peers through his hair, squinting a little. "...hey, do I know you?"

"I -- I don't know, we -- we have social studies together..." She colors a little. "My name is Angelique. What is your name?"

Mildmay was still working the kinks out of his leg and decided to make his way downstairs, though he was taking it easy and decides to take a seat in the main room after walking around for a bit.

A few moments later a teenage boy with short red hair and no scars hops up off the couch, looking around curiously before wandering in the direction of what turns out to be the library. There's a spring in his step, and a walking stick lies forgotten beside the couch.

He'll probably end up somewhere in the history section.

Felix is probably working on a monologue, leaning against one of the shelves with bright red hair all over his eyes and murmuring quickly under his breath what sounds like gibberish, utterly unaware of the world entire around him. His audition is in an hour and he just started memorizing now. If he doesn't get the lead he's going to be pissed.

Mildmay wanders in that direction when he hears the muttering, still very quiet as he walks so his approach may not be immediately obvious. He tilts his head to look at the title if one is visible, not wanting to interrupt in the middle of the monologue. Because that would probably piss Felix off.

Yes, it would. However, when he gradually becomes aware of his audience, he raises his voice and the reading transforms dramatically to become much more...well, dramatic. And audible.

This is the kid your mother always told you to stay away from because he was too 'fast' and you didn't know what fast meant so you went and talked to him and somehow ended up losing your virginity to him in the back of his (very nice!) car and not minding at all.

Wearing sunglasses and looking quite casually amused, slightly too-thin mouth quirked in a smile, Oberyn's bright red jacket says 'VIPER' across the back. He's leaning on the couch, people watching, feet on the table and smoking a cigarette with the kind of casual elegance that really shouldn't be allowed.

No high school is complete without the altogether too dramatic art kid. Daeron fits that model to a tee. He's currently sitting in the kitchen, seemingly unaware that his accustomed auditorium steps are gone, composing something on an old and battered acoustic guitar, clothes rumpled and hair stylishly shaggy, emulating the Beatles - though if you asked, he would give you a look that clearly indicates that you are so plebian for liking the Beatles.

Galadriel wanders in, mostly drawn by the music, and frowns a little when she realizes who is the artist. Because seriously. How can he expect to be taken seriously looking like that? Tsk tsk tsk.

And so she's just looking at him and shaking her head disapprovingly.

He looks up briefly and promptly goes back to trying to find the noe that works there, because there is one, he just can't find it yet!

"What's your issue?" Mildly, though, so as not to be offensive. He doesn't have any issue with her, after all.

"You're not bad," she informs him. "Though I think John Lennon played that half a tune higher," she points out. "You want to be professional, don't you?"

Here she is. The 'it' girl. The annoying girl, who has the grades, the looks, the boys, the fitness, the gossip, and who always knows the answer to the teacher's questions.

She's sitting on the porch, reading Roland Barthes's Mythologies, a book that nobody in her year has read. Why? Because she's already done all the mandatory reading, and she was ready for the next step. Even if Barthes won't be on her curriculum for another 10 years.

Fingon is currently dressed to the nines, sweater neatly pressed and collar turned over it, khakis clearly creased and spotless, hair pulled back in the ponytail that would look stupid on anyone else and you just have to hate him for pulling it off. That and being football captain without even having to pull the usual strings but actually getting in on talent.

He crouches next to Artanis with a bit of a grin. "Hey, still reading?"

She looks over, vaguely unimpressed, but friendly, like she is with just about everyone.

"Well, I have a book on my lap, I would suppose I am, don't you think?"

"Yeah, but you've been reading all afternoon, don't you want to do something new and different? The new frozen yogurt place is supposed to be really good..."
