Oh! This is already so twisted. I'm not certain about the plot I see - Gojyo having been with Kanan before he ever met Hakkai - but you've written it well, and I think you will continue to do so.

The timing for this to happen would work - it just seems too pat...like maybe gods were playing where they knew they would do the most damage. O.o (The gods in this series seem to be evil, self-serving, conniving bastards…..even the Merciful Goddess has Hir own agenda.)

Don't take my pessimism too hard - I'm already ready to believe this happened. :P

Looking forward to more back story and Hakkai’s reaction later on. I like the way you went from prologue to back story. :) Very sneaky and clever.

As usual you have sucked me in with your brilliance. Even though this is AU, it breaks my heart thinking of Gojyo's past and what he's been through, and what MK has implied, and you've gone there and I love you for it! Even though his past has made him what he is, I can tell you are going to make me cry copious tears before the week is out.

I am really looking forward to seeing where you take this and to Hakkai's reaction. I've been fastforwarding in my head to when Gojyo's finished with his story, and I can't help that think this is going to be something Hakkai won't want to hear. Poor Gojyo keeping this a secret for so long! *strokes Gojyo*

Ah, Caeseria, your reaction is exactly the reason I wrote this. I've often pondered Gojyo's past, we know everyone else's but not his. I finally had to make my own.

Gojyo is total love for me and ... yeah, there are some rough parts for him.

Yes apart from the 'obvious' past that see in canon of Gojyo, with Jien and his mother, he's the only ikkou member to have huge gaps in his personal history. I love this story, I really do, and I think your story will color my view of Gojyo and his past permanently, which is a good thing ;)
