Ho-hum, pig's bum
So we made the 2 hour trip to Brandon this weekend to visit the "In-Laws" with the kids. Ken's mom goes in for cancer surgery on November 16th, 2007; so we figured getting a visit in while she was feeling good would probably be a good idea.

Sat down and watched Moulin Rouge again for the first time in a long time today. I'd forgotten how emotional that movie actually is. I wash my hands of this weirdness.
Downloaded the last POTC movie the other day, to complete our collection. I still say it's the best one of them all. The first one's the best for that drunken Jack attitude; but the plot in AWE is much more amusing.
Of course, Geoffrey Rush starts a lot more in AWE, which I think helps the movie. That, and "My peanut."
