The Streets of Savannah - Forsyth Park

(ok ok I know, and I am sorry!!!! I took too long!!! Hope your getting better fast Grammy!)

After touring the Cathedrial we headed further into Savannah to Forsyth park, This is a huge park in the center of the town, with fields for playing ball, a beautiful fountain, pathways, picnic areas etc.

That park is so pretty! I'd love to see it in person. I went to Savannah a long time ago with my mom and brother, but instead of going around on a tour with my mom, my brother and I were poopy teenagers who chose to sleep in and hang around the hotel. Talk about lame.

I would love to go to Savannah, I think its like a 7 hour ride from here. Taking the trains would be a good idea though!

That would be an AWESOME place for us to meet one day for a long weekend (although better without kids but hey lol) We had a blast on the train loved it!!

Thank you for the well wishes----I think I'm doing okay, at least I wake up every morning---I take that as a good sign. Nice to tour Savannah thru your camera, you do a great job of capturing the sights. Looking forward to your next entry.

Thanks trying to call, sorry I missed it. Actually I would have preferred to stay another day but was worried the insurance wouldn't cover it. Now that I'm more home bound I really look forward to everyone's entries.
