i took him to the vet today and it turned out to be a urinary infection. he was misdiagnosed by the other doctor and there really wasn't anything we could do or afford to do. so we had to put him down. it really hurts how much i miss him already. and all the signs always come together after the fact. i have fucking pictures of him from a week

I'm so sorry :( It sucks so much to lose a pet, they become such a normal part of your daily existence. I'm sorry to hear that's how things turned out.

I'm a little confused. Why did you have to put a cat down for a UTI? Was is already into his kidneys? :(

yeah, he was misdiagnosed by the vet my other roommate (who owned him) took him to or she was too upset to get the right thing they were talking about (they wanted 3k for an operation). it was too far along and, again, we really couldn't afford it. there's no guarantee that it wouldn't have happened again either.
