i finally left my house in order to go shopping in burlington, which was fun despite my sister waking me up obnoxiously early (10:30, shut up) and putting me in a pissy mood. my dad made us wait for over an hour at borders, which was great in the end because he felt guilty and decided to buy us off with cds. i got saves the day's through being cool

I don't think the music thing is pretentious at all. Its like if this band has so many imitators then they've gotta be worth listening to, even if its partly just to see what all the damn fuss is about. :)

i'll upload you some cap'n jazz on sunday when i'm home. ridiculously influential, and pretty much unknown. well, they were until their stuff got re-issued. now they're only moderately unknown.
