all in all, not too bad of a day, eh?

in high school i read a book called "a day in the life of Ivan Denisovich". it was about a man who was in a labor camp in stalin's russia. his was a grueling life, but this day of ivan's we read about was one of his better days.
he got a little more food. a good work detail. didn't get beat down by no guards.
sure it's hard to relate exactly, but for a man in that situation, it's the little things that matter most.

the book also has my favourite line of dialogue in literature ever: "Fuck you, Clubfoot."

why am i telling you all this? no reason.

good luck on the homework.
