Rob Potylo, one of my favorite local musicians, has a song called "Worried All The Time" - I remember at one of his shows he mentioned borrowing the chorus from a semi-obscure 80's hit because he thought it was the only good part of that song. I have now finally found said 80's song:

Christmas was pretty good.
Well, it was. Basically it was me, my mom and dad, my sister and her (semi-?) boyfriend, opening up presents, having turkey dinner and generally hanging around the house afterward. Tonight I did security for a free concert at Government Center that was being filmed for mtv2 (Neon Trees and Paper Tongue. yeah, I'd never heard of them either, although it turned out I recognized one song by the former because wfnx plays it). A pretty good local act I've seen live. Not gonna compare them to Weezer, but they do seem like the sort of band people into Weezer liked in 2000. -

listening to "Sleigh Bells - Tell 'Em" on Blip
