*claps wildly for 2nd person POV + Nostalgia* Always a good combination in my book! You've definitely got some skill, so I couldn't help wanting to fangirl this piece :3 The idea of what they might have been like, their dynamic, if they'd just gotten on as acquaintances like Takano and Yokozawa is very intriguing, and I love the picture you painted of what-might-have-been, but at the same time I love that Ritsu realizes how much better it is being in a romantic relationship with Takano.

I also love all of the little details, the tiny little references to things in canon--like The Kan or reading one of Usami's novels.

Very excellent for your first foray into this fandom, and I definitely wouldn't turn my nose up at more ♥

I really, really liked this. At first I wasn't sure who was narrating, whether it was Ritsu or Masamune. From the outside looking in we often experience a closed-off Ritsu, so it was great to read these (non hidden) thoughts.....especially that if nothing else, Ritsu can be honest with himself when it comes to how much he does value Masamune. Hopefully he also realizes that it's not either/or, that in fact he's simply in love with his best friend. Anyway I hope you'll continue with more fics!

frankly speaking, many fic writers aren't gifted with sparkling writing skill but they're balancing it with their awesome ideas, or emotion-filled sentences..
but, in your case I think you have a great writing style! (at least for me!)
I can't wait to see you adding a story in your next fic..I have a strong feeling that it'll turn out into smth AWESOME!
