I didn't tell you. Two weeks ago when Mom-In-Law was here I went to the store for something we needed for dinner. This guy went to a lane that wasn't open and started arguing with the cashier... trying to get her to open up. She says loudly, "You know, if you were in that line -nodding her head at mine- you'd already be there by now. Sorry, I can't open this one up." The guy goes, "I am in this line" and proceeds to walk RIGHT in front of me. Okay, I could let that go, but then a woman in the aisle with maybe 23 items or so (it was the 20 items or less lane) offers to let him go in front of her. He said NOTHING! No thank you, no polite nod, nothing. So I went up to him and I'm like, "You know I didn't say anything when you cut in front of me, but that lady just let you go in front of her. You could say thanks." He turns around all sarcastically and says, "Thanks." Then...as I'm walking back to my cart he's like, "What do you want to go in front of me?" I say, "No, that's not necessary. You can just not be rude." And the ( ... )

LOL. That'd be a neat ass trick!

You know, it felt good to yell at him. You're right, he'll probably think he's the victim, but God damn it! If just one person would THINK after that, that'd make me happy.

I still think we should nuke this fucker from orbit.

oh my god...i know all about that. i used to work as a cashier in a grocery store for almost 2 years, and i have seen it all. the worst couple things i can think of:
-some 20-year old mom screaming at random elderly lady for "staring at her fucking kid".
-man throwing a handful of change in my face because he gave me the incorrect amount of money and i told him so (politely of course)
-a mother of a 2 or 3 year old boy accidentally bumped into another woman with her cart because she had stopped abrubtly in front of her. the mother apologized profusely and the lady bitched her out hardcore in front of everyone in the store.
-(and my favorite) this one happened to my mom. she was looking at salad dressing and this lady "nudged" my mom out of the way, and grabbed a bottle of dressing that was in front of my mom. my mom kind of looked at the lady weird because that was really rude and all she would have had to have done was to say "excuse me' or something so my mom would know she was in the way. then the lady gets pissed at my mom for ( ... )

HAHAHAHAHAHA! "the thing about grocery stores is, even crazy people have to eat." very nice!! god those stories are so horrile tho.. i can't stand rude people. its like the people who stand behind you or next to you and NEVER say a word. and then get all pissy and impatient when you don't move. its like "if i'd known you wanted something.. i would have moved." :P i'm no mindreader! :D

alright, and how about these ladies in mexico? i'm in the fruteria, buying my papaya and limes and chiles and grapefruits and whathaveyou, and here, not once - not twice - but thrice these ladies - not even old ones - budge me without a word. ladies who entered the tienda after i got in line. waiting patiently, patiently. if it were something - anything - well, fine. but to just jump right in front of me like that? like i deserve it - because what, i'm a gringo? goddamn. learn some respect, senyora, and it'll reciprocate.

shoot.

awh, thats bad! yeah, i'm usually the first to offer the space ahead of me in line but if people just jump right in.. i'm really to kick some ass :D don't let them push you around! like you said, show them some respect when they start to show you some.

lol. bc everything in this country is moving in such a rapid pace. no one has time to be courteous cuz they all have their own stuff--which is the saddest excuse ever. <3
