 i recieved a letter from umkc today. this made me nervous since most acceptance packets are rather thick and bulky looking (in my experience) and this was a simple, thin envelope. it read "Congratualtions!" i was accepted into the curriculum and instructional leadership master's degree program with a reading emphasis. this is what i was hoping for ( Read more... )

i got my wedding album today and it's pretty!!!! if i can figure out a way i'll show it to you all sometime. and i did manage to get it before my 2nd anniversary at least. 

 chuck thank you so much for helping me sort out my thoughts for the application. i will keep everyone posted with the results of all this effort.

 thanks to amy and chuck i modified my paragraph somewhat. i like it now but it's too long.... 1126 characters when i can only use 1000. i'm not sure how to adjust it. any ideas?

well... the year was going well up till about 8:50pm.... when my tire blew out at 60 mph on the way home. nothing bad happened. i pulled off the road and called shane. he and his brother came to get me and changed the tire. it blew out worse than anything shane had ever seen before. holes in the rubber and everything. we'll go get a new tire soon.
