You have to keep a good sense of humor about your typos when you write, and I, and my beta readers, always seem to find some great ones.

Here's one I just came across:

"The fear was palatable among the Chosen, for word of Betel’s plans to march on the barracks spread like wildfire."

I have managed to use the word callipygian in a sentence in Crimson Mask, and this pleases me greatly. Not only because its a great word, but because the sheer challenge of finding a way to use it, especially in a fantasy novel.

Well, the editing process may take a little longer than originally anticipated,since I'm probably going to be making a major plot point change. Two of the characters "hook up", to use the vernacular, and as I've been reading back over it, and reading some reader's reactions, I think it hurts the story more than it helps. I've been looking up Bob Dylan covers and found this. The best part is that he imitates Dylan's voice.

So our electricity issue was a bit more serious than Sara had originally thought. Suffice to say we had the power company come out to look at it and their response was to pull us off the grid after they made sure we had a place to stay for the night. So I'm currently just over half-way through what is basically my first round of edits. At the moment, I'm not changing any of the story or adding any scenes, focusing primarily on keeping a solid continuity and normalizing the nomenclature. (Wanderers have Attendants, the Goddess has Priests and Priestesses, that kind of thing.)
