I just did something that was unexpectedly really fulfilling: I taught a couple of friends the basics of symbolic logic/predicate calculus. I looked at the assignment they didn't understand, quickly worked it out for myself, tried to explain it to them, did a simple example to show them the idea behind the problem, and then showed them how to apply

Teaching is awesome. I've spent a lot of time tutoring people in math and physics, and it's always rewarding. Well, let me rephrase: it's rewarding when they show up and when they take tutoring seriously. But if you get people who are serious and concerned about learning the material, it's totally awesome and completely rewarding.
