Went out last night, for the first time in a while. I decided to head over to CJ's instead of the regular bar, and I ran into Larry, of course, Lani and Casey. It was a nice evening, for the most part.

I met the Boston guy--McCutcheon. Seems like a pretty nice guy, despite his team affiliation--I know right now that he and Danny would not get along. I hung out with Connie last night. We got Thai take-out and just vegged and talked for a while. It had been a few weeks since I'd seen her, so it was kinda nice to get the chance to catch up. We didn't talk about work though--with everything that's been going on at the DA's office, I figured it was better to talk about other things.

The Lieu has apparently spread around what a good paperwork wench I am, so she's "loaning" me to one of the other precincts to help out with office issues. She says it's only going to be for a week, and I should be back to doing nothing in the 2-7 before I know it. *mutters under her breath*
