Yes, I have noticed that some folks are username "chameleons" ... that makes it hard to track them if you ever lose touch.

It is good to have you back from your LJ break.

Whoa! That's a lotta comments. And I don't know- LJ may be a phase, but it's still useful for me, so I keep using it. :)

I'm glad that whatever my phase was/is, God used it to bring my wife and I together. But I do have a "what happened?" sense in regard to LJ these days, too.

Honestly I rather like LJ. I tend to go thru phases with jounraling more a matter of 'getting around to' journaling then a desire to do it. What I have found over the last several years is that I have been most consistant with LJ then any pen and paper one that I have ever kept/lost/accidently tossed or ripped pages out of. Also because my hand writting is not so great I have tended not to want to go back and read pen and paper journals where as I have looked through different parts of my lj post to remind myself of something or get an old quote/joke or what have you. So though I tend to pop in and out during busy times I do plan to stick around :).

Thanks for the great question :) . . . are you on facebook? (hahaha)

I've definitely gone through a few off years, but I'll chalk that up to trying to find my voice again. I underestimated the ontological change involved in marriage, and I suppose I'll underestimate the same change in fatherhood. It may be a while.
