Speaking of food...

What's on your Christmas menu this year? (And where are you from?)

I'm from New York. We have ham, turkey, potato salad, macaroni salad, green beans, shrimp, lots of breads and desserts (plus some other things that people decide to bring). We don't do a sit down dinner. Just lots of noshing.

I'm from America, but live in China.

My school gave us a Christmas dinner that included sixty different Chinese dishes. The idea with such a dinner is that you just take a bite or two of everything.

The most interesting/local dishes were probably the sweet and sour wedding fish ((which is amazing)), stinky tofu (not as bad as it smells.), and seasoned pork fat (sort of revolting, actually.). Oh, there was also something very like french fries, but made with lotus root rather than potato, which I need to learn how to order.

I have to work today. So I'm going to have smoked salmon with wasabi, a tomato-mozzarella salad, some bread, and a lot of wine tonight. Currently located near Cologne, Germany.

We're having turkey, beef, stuffing, Yorkshire pudding, mash, roast potatoes, vegetables and a pudding of Christmas pudding and a chocolate pudding for me. The day after we're having the leftover turkey and beef with boiled ham for sandwiches :) I'm in the UK by the way.
