Panierte Schweinswürstchen und Kartoffelsalat heute abend :) und klassische Weihnachtsgans mit Blaukraut und Kartoffelpüree morgen. An Traditionen rüttelt man nicht :)

Weincreme mit Nudeln heute zum Mittagessen.
Die Weihnachtsgans, gefüllt mit Maronen/Esskastanien und Rosenkohl als Beilage gibt's bei uns traditionell immer erst am 25., also morgen.
(wohnhaft: Dorf bei Mainz in Rheinland-Pfalz)

Sadly I'm the wrong person to ask since I don't know anything about cooking and my mother (^^°) is doing all the work. Hey, but I will see if I can get my mother to tell me the Christmas goose recipe!

This year, it'll be raclette because we're just too many people with too different tastes in food.

The usual menu of stuffed turkey, potatoes, and red cabbage with red fruit jelly and vanilla sauce as dessert lost its appeal when I stopped eating meat.

I'm from Northern Germany, btw.

Today: Potato salad with filet tips.
Tomorrow: Beef olive with braised red cabbage and potato dumplings.
