A friend of mine is hosting a badass Karaoke party tonight. She's rented like $200 equipment and it's going to rock hard. And Bret will be there (mutual friend) so we should all come if not for any other reason than to sing karaoke and see our long lost Bret! -

Dude this woman just came in and said the funniest thing. Apparantly she thought that her marriage wouldn't "count" in Washington because she got married in Vegas- "and my friend tol' me that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" . . . . Yes. -

I'm freaking out just a bit right now. I sent an email to my boss on Monday (she was gone) telling her I would be taking a year off and that I was excited to continue working here (in a job she'd already offered me). Well folks, I just got back from New York and with my return I've come to somewhat of a huge decision for me. I've decided to take a year off and defer my admission to Pace. I'm excited to go to law school and everything, but I'm tired and exhausted and sick of school and nothing bad will come from taking a year off. My parents freaked of course ( Read more... ) -

I'm going to New York to visit the one school out of the 13 I applied to that accepted me. God that's humbling. Oh well, I knew this would be competitive, and it didn't help that 75% of the schools I applied to were above and beyond my measly LSAT score and GPA. I am excited, nonetheless.
