I spent yesterday afternoon at Moffett Field, taking the ground tour of the Collings Foundation aircraft. They brought a B-17, B-24, and P-51 -- for some real money you could get a half-hour flight on one of them, but I could only justify the $12 to look at them on the ground. Still, I got some pictures I'm pretty happy with.

Laguna Seca tomorrow! And Sunday!

According to Microsoft's site, they got the xbox on Friday, status changed to "repaired" on Sunday morning. I guess they've got weekend shifts at the repair depot.

Last Thursday I went to do my every-two-week Humira injection and the injector pen malfunctioned. They're supposed to be dead simple -- take the caps off, put it on your leg, press the button, CLICK, curse for a few seconds as it stings, and when the yellow piston is visible through the little window it's done. Today, after leaving a meeting in building 23, the Miata's clutch hydraulic system decided to eat itself. :-/ Not yet sure if it's the master or slave cylinder, but it picked the time designed to inconvenience the maximum number of people.
