I'm never really sure how to handle it when someone I care about, but am not particularly close to, is in medical distress. This week several of the people I used to consider my dearest closest friends, but who no longer feel close to ME, have had surgery. I'm aching for them, especially those who's medical situations came as a surprise. But

It's really hard when stuff you do regularly with people dissapears. There should be a party a party for A & G coming up, and I know A was interested in you being there. I'll call you later/send and invitation later.

That's true. And when said party comes along, I'll be there with bells on. I'll be available for anything you need tomorrow and Thurs morning, and then back in town next week.
